Baja is easy to love: Fragrant desert, rich with odd creatures, salty margaritas, and adventure. The weathered granitic mountains, endemic plants, blue water, and happy children are good for my soul. It seems strange and fortunate to me that such paradise can be so seemingly off the map when it is really just next door. Highly recommended.
